Edward Lee began his career at the 利昂县警长’s Office in 1987 as a Correctional Officer in the Housing Unit. In 1989 he obtained his 执法 Standards, commonly referred to as “Dual Certification.” He then transferred to the Booking Unit where in 1990 he was promoted to Team Leader of the newly formed Intake 分类 and Release (I.C.R.)单位.
In 1993 Major Lee was promoted to Sergeant and continued to work in the I.C.R. Unit and later transferred to the Housing Unit when the new jail, now known as the 拘留所, 于1993年8月开业. While in the Housing Unit, he served as a F.T.O. 中士和值班指挥官. In 2003, Major Lee transferred to the Case Man年龄ment Unit and man年龄d the operations of the 分类 and the Court Services section of the jail. In 2008, he was appointed the Facility Investigator where he investigated crimes within the jail, 进行内部调查, conducted disciplinary hearings for inmates, 并担任P.R.E.A. 协调员.
Major Lee was promoted to Lieutenant in 2010, and he continued to serve as the Facility Investigator. In 2016 he was promoted to Captain and man年龄d the Operation Bureau at the 拘留所. During April of 2018 the command structure of the Department of 拘留 was reorganized, and Ed was promoted to Major and currently serves as the Chief over the 司法服务 Division.
Major Lee is married to Sabrina and they have two sons. Bailey is 21 and serves in the United States Coast Guard, and Zachery is 14 and attends Chiles High School.
